Paul Petera is the President of Petera Leadership Group where he helps to build more leaders and stronger cultures through mentoring, writing and speaking. He has spent more than three decades as a financial services executive, focused on enterprise and operational risk management. 

Paul enjoys becoming immersed in new arenas, and developing plans for improving process and organizational designs to support them.  

In 2025, Paul published an award-winning book, Built on Purpose: Lessons in Leadership and Culture, a work that shares the leadership lessons he's learned in his 30+ year career.
